Muscle Transform Simulator How to Train
Fill every bar with the right machine, weight, pet, and potion window.
Training is the spine of Muscle Transform Simulator. Smash runs print Gold, but Gold cannot buy the next character until the current form is maxed. Every world, from Rage Man through King Hulk, uses the same three pads: arms, legs, and body. Learn the pads once, then layer weights, pets, and potions on top.
If you have not redeemed codes or bought Gray yet, finish the first-hour walkthrough first. This page assumes you can already press F, sit down, and tell a capped bar from an empty one.
Transform, then pick a machine
Press F before you touch a pad. Untransformed clicks waste time. The lobby gym has separate stations for arms, legs, and body (core). Interact with one station and tap. Each tap is a rep. Public videos and player tools often describe each body part maxing around 100 on a given character. When the bar fills white, that part is done for this form. Switch pads instead of hammering a finished stat.
A character is not finished when arms look huge. Gray, Spike Man, and later bodies still need legs and body at cap. Unlocking the next form requires the whole roster slot, not a screenshot of one swollen arm.
Auto-train is the default, not a luxury
Open the gear in the top-left and enable auto-train. It is free. Tap-training is only useful while you learn which pad is which, or when you want to jump off the machine the instant a bar caps. For everything else, sit, auto-train, and watch the bar. You can still rotate pads manually when one stat finishes.
Auto-train does not smash the city for you. When Gold is the bottleneck, leave the gym, run a cluster, and press V to return. The smash guide covers that half of the loop.
Weights unlock in Gold order
The weights panel sits near Worlds. Each better plate costs Gold and wants the previous plate owned. You cannot skip from a starter dumbbell to a late crate because the shop looks cooler. Buy the next weight as soon as the current character can afford it without delaying the next form.
Early weights are cheap on purpose. They exist to make Rage Man and Gray finish before you get bored. Later Gold weights get expensive; that is a feature of an incremental gym, not a bug. If a smash run barely funds the next plate, keep smashing clustered cars instead of restarting a machine that already ticks slowly.
Titanic weights arrived in a later update and are a large jump when you can claim one. Galaxy weights cost about 500 Robux and show up in creator videos as a huge multiplier compared with mid-Gold plates. Neither one replaces sequential Gold weights for free-to-play accounts. If you spend Robux, Galaxy plates help every form you train after the purchase. If you do not, stay on the Gold ladder and let pets plus potions close the gap.
Pets stay on while you train
Lobby eggs hatch pets that boost training speed and related stats. Equip the strongest pet you own before you sit down. Empty pet slots are wasted reps. Hatch a cheap egg during the first hour, then compare later hatches on the pet tier list before you dump a world-clear pile into a flashy egg.
Pets keep working on smash runs too, so you do not unequip them to punch trees. You train with them on, smash with them on, and only swap when a better hatch actually outranks the current loadout.
Potions belong on sets, not on empty bars
The potion types you will see are Strength, Gold, Training, and Super. Strength belongs on the machines when you are about to fill a bar. Training belongs on the same window if you want faster ticks. Gold belongs on a smash route, not on a pad. Super is a burst you plan: pop it when weights, pets, and auto-train are already in place.
Do not drink a Strength potion in the lobby before you transform. Do not drink Gold while you are AFK on legs. Do not stack every bottle the moment a code lands. Code potions from the rewards list are the same items; they are just free. Time them with the potion planner so a Super does not expire while you hunt a single crate.
A clean training block
- Transform with F.
- Equip best pets and the highest owned weight.
- Sit on the lowest of the three bars.
- Enable auto-train.
- Pop Strength or Training if the bar will actually finish during the timer.
- Rotate to the next pad at cap.
- When all three are done, buy the next character or smash for that purchase.
- Press V whenever you wandered into the city and need the gym again.
If a pad gives nothing, you are capped, untransformed, or on the wrong station. If ticks look pathetic after a world change, you probably equipped a starter weight on a late form or forgot pets. Re-open the weights list and buy the next Gold plate you can afford.
Venom (about 800 Robux), Master Rage (about 30 percent over your best character), and King Hulk still use these pads. Paid and late forms do not invent a fourth stat. They just make each tick smash harder once the bars are full.
Stay on this loop until the current world roster is done. Then smash enough Gold for the next body, or stop and plan a rebirth instead of buying random shop noise. Titanic and Galaxy plates are how you shorten later worlds, not how you skip arms day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How do I turn auto-train on?
Open the gear in the top-left and enable auto-train in settings. Sit on a machine after you press F. The toggle is free.
What order should I buy weights?
Buy them in Gold sequence. You cannot skip plates. Titanic weights came in a later update; Galaxy weights cost about 500 Robux and sit beside that ladder, not instead of it.
Which potion do I drink on the machines?
Strength and Training on pads, Gold on smash runs, Super only when pets and weights are already equipped. Time bottles with the potion planner.
Do pets work while I train?
Yes. Equip hatched pets before you sit. Rank later eggs on the pet tier list so you do not hatch expensive junk during a cap grind.
